Facility Grid Adds Former Arup Commissioning Leader to Executive Team
Alex Kozinets Joins Facility Grid as Chief Product Officer
BOSTON, Massachusetts (January 3, 2019) – Facility Grid, a leading provider of building commissioning software, announced the appointment of Alex Kozinets, PE, EBCP, LEED AP, as the company’s Chief Product Officer.
Kozinets will be responsible for driving Facility Grid’s product management, training, and customer support initiatives. He is kicking off this new appointment with a series of customer calls, visits, and strategic product discussions, and will be rolling out a new schedule of education and training sessions, both live and by webinar.

Kozinets brings deep experience in commissioning and project management, including LEED Fundamental and Enhanced projects and ASHRAE Level I, II and III energy audits for multi-building portfolio holders. As a Commissioning Business Leader at Arup, he worked on major projects including LaGuardia Central Terminal B Redevelopment, Terrorist Explosive Device Analytical Center (TEDAC), and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology. Prior to Arup, Kozinets worked at Vanderweil Engineers and BR+A Consulting Engineers. Alex is a Professional Engineer (PE) in Massachusetts, LEED Accredited Professional, and Existing Building Commissioning Professional (EBCP). He is a member of American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and Building Commissioning Association (BCA).
